Happy Hour

The Delancey

You would think you’re in Miami for all the palm fronds keeping things lush on this LES rooftop. All drinks are $2 off Monday to Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. 168 Delancey Street, between Clinton and Attorney streets

It’s officially spring (whether Mother Nature got that memo or not), and you need to de-stress. Take your spring workwear out for a spin at one of these outdoor-friendly happy hours around the city.

Boxcar Lounge

The hours are plenty plural at this East Village dive: Get happy Monday to Thursday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., or even on the weekend, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Recline with your double-fisted two-for-one drinks in a vintage deck chair out back, and sip (or slam) away. 168 Avenue B, between 10th and 11th streets

For those working in the Meatpacking or Chelsea, the airy back garden of this Provençale gem is the perfect place to unwind. Though only Monday to Thursday, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Paradou’s happy hour features $5 glasses of excellent house red, white, or rosé (beer is also an option) and $5 plates of cheese, pâté, or salumi. Très délicieux. 8 Little West 12th Street, between Ninth and Washington avenues

The Sixth Ward

Though this Irish pub’s interior lacks, er, flair, its 50-person patio and $4 domestic draft/well drink specials more than redeem the place. The hours are happy Monday to Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m. and on Thursday and Friday from noon to 7 p.m. 191 Orchard Street, between Houston and Stanton streets

Need to feel worlds away? Monday to Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. get your happy hour à la française at Williamsburg’s Juliette. The roomy rooftop garden has its own bar, but should the weather rain on your parade, order up your $5 glass of wine at a table in the glass-ceilinged indoor patio instead. 135 N 5th Street, at Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn.

Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden

Round up a rowdy group and take over a picnic table at this summer stalwart. Pitchers of the Czech classic Pilsner Urquell (among others) go for just $10 Monday to Wednesday during after-work hours. 29-19 24th Avenue, between 29th and 31st streets, Astoria.
