The hours are plenty plural at this East Village dive: Get happy Monday to Thursday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., or even on the weekend, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Recline with your double-fisted two-for-one drinks in a vintage deck chair out back, and sip (or slam) away. 168 Avenue B, between 10th and 11th streets
For those working in the Meatpacking or Chelsea, the airy back garden of this Provençale gem is the perfect place to unwind. Though only Monday to Thursday, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Paradou’s happy hour features $5 glasses of excellent house red, white, or rosé (beer is also an option) and $5 plates of cheese, pâté, or salumi. Though this Irish pub’s interior lacks, er, flair, its 50-person patio and $4 domestic draft/well drink specials more than redeem the place. The hours are happy Monday to Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m. and on Thursday and Friday from noon to 7 p.m. 191 Orchard Street, between Houston and Stanton streets
Need to feel worlds away? Monday to Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. get your happy hour à la française at Williamsburg’s Juliette. The roomy rooftop garden has its own bar, but should the weather rain on your parade, order up your $5 glass of wine at a table in the glass-ceilinged indoor patio instead. 135 N 5th Street, at Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn.
Round up a rowdy group and take over a picnic table at this summer stalwart. Pitchers of the Czech classic Pilsner Urquell (among others) go for just $10 Monday to Wednesday during after-work hours. 29-19 24th Avenue, between 29th and 31st streets, Astoria.
