Bombay Bicycle Club has always been known for their openness to musical experimentation. In the five years since their inception as a traditional indie rock band, they’ve made their forays into folk and electronica with great success.
The London fourpiece have switched things up once again with their latest album, So Long, See You Tomorrow, by experimenting with world music. This unexpected new direction comes off the heels of frontman Jack Steadman’s year of traveling abroad to places like India and Turkey.
The influences are both refreshing and apparent, particularly in their newest single, “Feel.” The track samples one of India’s most well-known tunes from the Bollywood film Nagin. The band has released a fittingly Bollywood-inspired video for the single. Check it out and let us know what you think!
