Springtime is officially in full swing, but if you’re already on the hunt for this year’s summer anthem, you better keep your eye on Charli XCX.
The 21-year-old singer already has some major songwriting cred. Her collaboration with Iggy Azalea on “Fancy” has generated some serious buzz about the Australian rapper, and she’s the scribe behind last year’s ubiquitous summer hit “I Love It” by Swedish duo Icona Pop.
Now it’s Charli’s turn to have her moment in the spotlight with her own infectious track “Boom Clap.” The 808-heavy track is featured in the highly-anticipated film, The Fault in Our Stars.
Listen to it above and tell us what you think.
