Governors Ball Survival Kit
Governors Ball kicks off on Friday, and we couldn’t be more excited for the music, food, and of course, festival style.
But before you head off to the Randall’s Island concert grounds for 12 hours at a time, you need to make sure you’re prepared with all the essentials (because once you get there, you’re definitely not going to want to leave).
To help you out, we’ve put together a little Governors Ball Survival Kit so you can have fun in the sun without worrying about a thing.
This is the festival bag. It’s outfitted with a cool assortment of studs and is just the right size to fit all your must-haves. Plus, the crossbody strap allows you to go hands-free so you can bust a move.
2. Kind bar
Don’t get us wrong: we love any excuse to eat fried dough and french fries. But you’ll need something to hold you over on the way to the island, or while waiting in line for all the good (re: unhealthy) stuff.
Whatever you do, do not forget a stylish pair of shades. It’s going to be bright and sunny all weekend long, and you don’t want to be the person squinting to see the band or forced to take a break from the music because you have a splitting headache.
4. TRESemmé Shine Spray
Good news: it’s going to be hot and sunny. Bad news: you have hair. This lightweight spray gets rid of frizz and adds a lustrous shine to your locks. Spritz a little on every couple of hours, and you’re hair will be looking lovely all day (and night) long.
5. Clarins Tinted Sunscreen
This wondrous little bottle combines sunscreen and bronzer in one. It’s lightweight, non-greasy and perfectly evens out your skintone while adding a nice tint. Plus, it’s 40 SPF. You don’t want to be the girl going into the office on Monday with a nasty sunburn, prompting the “Fun weekend?” remarks from co-workers.
6. Benefit Hydrating Tinted Lip Balm
Another two-in-one creation we love, this balm will keep your lips moisturized and prevent them from getting burned. The light posie tint adds a pretty pop of color.
