We were fortunate enough to hang out with model and illustrator Langley Fox (the face of #RMFALL) on the set of our latest campaign shoot, and we had the best time getting to know her. Fox, the great granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway and sister of model Dree Hemingway, kept us laughing and in good spirits all day long with her dry wit and easygoing nature.
Rebecca, who calls Fox “the ultimate Rebecca Minkoff girl,” was so taken with the artist’s talent, confidence and personal style that she wanted her for our Fall ’14 shoot the moment she met her.
We shot Fox wearing our new fall collection (pausing for dancing and food breaks, naturally), and interviewed her about literature, art, fashion and her cat, whom she calls “kind of a d**k.” We’ll have more on our day with her in the coming weeks (consider this just a little preview of what’s to come). Ahead, check out the muse of the moment wearing some of our favorite looks for fall.
One of the most impressive things about Fox’s look is that she can go from delicate and pretty to rocker chic in a matter of moments. Even in this pleated pink dress, though, she maintains her edgy essence and punk style. We love how the feminine silhouette looks on her figure.
In this shot, the model gives a chic lesson in layering. This masculine navy sheath gets a ladylike touch from our petal pink Frank Top.
Shop the looks here, and check back soon for more on our new imaginary bestie (move over, Jennifer Lawrence).
