Coachella has come and gone. And it slayed. Obviously the OG RM favorites like Ellie Goulding and Grimes killed it. But, music-speaking, the fest is about way more than the bands you already love. It’s a chance to find those under-the-radar guys that are going to be your next obsession. Here are a few of the lesser-known acts that you’ll be hearing about now that our #RMRebelRebel squad found them.
This is it. Coachella 2016 Weekend 1 kicks off in two days. Anyone who’s ever been to a music festival (let alone the mother of all festivals) knows how overwhelming it can be to decide which acts to see. *Everyone* will be flocking to see big names like Calvin Harris, LCD Soundsystem, and Ellie Goulding. And of course you’ll be catching at least some of their sets. But in the #RMRebelRebel spirit, these are the artists—a bit lesser-known—that are worth dropping everything to see.
Brace yourselves. Coachella is right around the corner. Thousands of music lovers—Rebecca included—will be flocking to the desert mecca of all music festivals next week to hear headliners like LCD Soundsystem, Guns & Roses, and Calvin Harris. Plus, Sia, Ellie Goulding, The Kills, M83, Chvrches and more.
We’ve got the ultimate playlist to get you hyped for Coachella 2016. We’ve thrown a few of the hits in there (we call BS if you claim you’re *so over* “Daft Punk is Playing at My House”), but because we’re living that #RMRebelRebel life, we’ve included a bunch of the deeper, lesser-known tracks from your fave artists, too.
Have a listen. Get psyched. Then dress for the adventure with our Festival Style shop.
Every damn year, you guys. After months of hibernation, you’re FINALLY able to pull your spring wardrobe back into rotation, only to find that everything fits just a liiittle differently than the last time you wore it.
Maybe you took advantage of the forgiving nature of your oversized knitted sweaters. Maybe you skipped your SoulCycle class one too many times this winter… It happens. But real talk, ladies: if you want to squeeze into those cute little dresses of yours again, you’re going to have to work (work, work, work, work, work).
We’ve got a playlist just for that. Time to get the most out of that gym membership.
PS: Extra motivation? New gear. You’ve heard it a million times because it works. Shop, shop, shop.
Good news: it’s spring. Bad news: that means it’s FOMO season. Right about now, it feels like everybody on Instagram but you is partying at the beach somewhere and you’re like, at work. So not fair. We at RM strongly believe that everyone deserves a little getaway when it warms up—makes no diff if your IRL college (i.e. spring break) days are wayyy behind you. So we’re doing our part with this playlist, which is chock full of breezy escapist tunes that sound like, well, a day at the beach. Just listen and you’re there. No vacation days necessary.
