One. Single. Day. Come tomorrow, this whole thing will be live, streaming, and out of my hands.
Which is why my hands are extra full today. I’ll be putting the finishing touches on all the moving parts of this huge fashion show machine, so the agenda today is focused on the details. I’ll be tweaking and fine-tuning casting, fitting the girls, approving the beauty, finishing up styling, even squeezing in a celeb fitting and more. It’s a lot, but it’s the subtleties that really pull the show together in the end.
On top of all this, I’ve worked with my team on events at all of our stores—NYC, SF, and LA. We’ll be airing the entire show at each location, plus you can get your makeup and hair done by beauty teams who will be there
Every Friday we’re on the hunt for your #myRM pics.
This week has been crazy prepping for the #SeeBuyWear show (tomorrow!), and that’s probably why this pic spoke to us so much. It comes courtesy of Becky Hillyard, known on Instagram as @cellajaneblog. She’s reminding us of everything that’s necessary to push through rn—Nikes, Starbucks, and the make-any-outfit-chic Love Crossbody.
Want to be our RM Pick of the Week? Just tag your pic with #myRM and/or #rebeccaminkoff to be featured.
We asked all you @rebeccaminkoff followers out there what you’d ask Rebecca if you could ask her anything. We got so many great Q’s (thanks, guys), and now, here are the results. RM herself is answering them, one video at a time, in our new series for our Youtube channel, RMTV. It’s called, “Ask Me Anything” and here’s our first episode.
Feelin’ it? Then subscribe to our channel and check back to see if your question gets asked.

Today’s going to be a fun day—it’s all about beauty.
Right now, all the talented artists I know are getting together with a few of the models I’ve been casting. Together, they’ll be spending most of the day testing out hair, makeup, and nail looks for the big show on Saturday.
It’s another one of those deceptively-easy-looking things. My usual approach to runway beauty has a rock-and-roll vibe—fresh skin, maybe a smudge of eyeliner or a lip, and breezy tousled hair. Even though it looks effortless, nobody wakes up like this. It takes a village to pull it all together.
Even then, it doesn’t work every time. Sometimes I go into it thinking that, say, a cat eye would be killer. But then I see it on the girls, I see the girls in
Still knee-deep in casting models and styling despite all the hardwork yesterday. Models make everything look so effortless, but it’s a whole process matching the right ones to the clothes that best suit their individual personalities and bodies. Sometimes I love a girl and I love a dress, but for whatever reason, the two just don’t go together. So there’s that to work through.
But with Saturday getting closer every day, it’s time to start thinking logistics. And today we’re really focusing on one of the trickiest logistics of all—where to seat all the people coming to the show (and keep them all happy at the same time). So I’m working with my team on this seating chart for #SeeBuyWear. And no matter how many you do of these,
